Complimentary Airport Shuttle
Enjoy the free shuttle transportation provided by Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, which runs every 20 - 25 minutes, between East and West Towers as well as the San Diego International Airport. The shuttle runs from 5:00am - midnight everyday.
Shuttle service is available at the Transportation Plazas across from Terminals 1 and 2.
From Terminal 1 you must cross the skybridge, and take either the escalators or the elevators to street level.
From Terminal 2, cross the Terminal 2 skybridge and take either the escalators or the elevators to street level, or use the pedestrian crosswalk conveniently located outside the Terminal 2 Baggage Claim Area to access the Transportation Plaza.
Look for the gray, white and blue vans!
Parking and Directions
The Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina offers daily parking rates. Hotel guests have in/out privileges for valet and self-parking.

Follow the exit which becomes Harbor Island Drive.
Drive straight through the intersection to Harbor Island Drive.
The hotel is on the right-hand side.
Approximate driving time to Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina is 4 minutes and distance is 1 mile.
From East
Take Interstate 8 West to I-5 South.
Take the Sassafrass/San Diego Airport Exit.
Turn right onto Laurel.
Turn right onto Harbor Drive.
Continue for 1.5 miles to Harbor Island.
From North
Take Interstate 5 South to the Sassafrass/San Diego Airport Exit.
Turn right onto Laurel.
Turn right onto Harbor Drive.
Continue for 1.5 miles to Harbor Island.
From South
Take I-5 North to the Hawthorne/San Diego Airport Exit.
Turn right onto Harbor Drive.
Continue for 1.5 miles to Harbor Island.
Taxi
Taxi stands are conveniently located near the Arrivals exits of the terminal. Dispatchers at each stand will help you select a taxi based on your destination. Taxis to from the Sheraton Hotel and Marina average around $10 one way. Click on the link below for fare estimates and to order taxi service.
Car Rental
There are several car rental reservation boards located near the baggage claim areas of Terminals 1 and 2. All car rental agencies are off-site and do not have counters inside the terminal facilities. Car rental shuttles — boarded at the Transportation Plazas — will take you to their rental locations.
