Apheresis Medicine and ASFA Debut at National Medical Association 115th Annual Convention

For the first time ever, the National Medical Association (NMA) will be holding an Apheresis Medicine session at the 115th Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, July 29 – August 2, 2017.

The NMA’s Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly is acclaimed as the nation’s foremost forum on medical science and African American health. Each year, African American physicians and other health professionals from across the country convene to participate in the scholarly exchange of medical advances, discuss health policy priorities, and to share experience through networking opportunities

Co-chaired by ASFA Director, Rasheed Balogun, the session theme is Apheresis Medicine 101 and the Minority Population. All four speakers are ASFA members:
