Major Charges/Projects
The Education Committee is responsible for the educational efforts of ASFA including the development of audio-visual products, regional symposia, printed education publications, basic apheresis classes, and online education.
Recently, the Committee held a two-part webinar on regulatory issues pertaining to apheresis medicine.
The Committee is in the process of developing a regular series of webinars to take place throughout the year on an ongoing basis.
Future Projects
Projects that the Education Committee will be working on in the near future are:
- Reviewing all ASFA audio-visual educational offerings from the past and bringing them up to date
- Holding regional apheresis workshops
Meeting Schedule
The Education Committee meets monthly via teleconference. The Committee also meets in person at the Annual Meeting.
