Major Charges/Projects

The Education Committee is responsible for the educational efforts of ASFA including the development of audio-visual products, regional symposia, printed education publications, basic apheresis classes, and online education.

The Committee has rolled out the 2007/2008 series of ASFA educational webinars addressing various aspects and applications of apheresis in both donor and patient settings. These webinars are held on a monthly basis.

The Committee has recently conducted a survey to determine the educational needs of the ASFA membership.

Meeting Schedule

The Education Committee meets monthly via teleconference. The Committee also meets in person at the Annual Meeting.

ASFA members are invited to apply to serve on the Education Committee by sending an email, stating their interest in joining the Education Committee to asfa@apheresis.org. Please include a brief CV as an attachment to your email.
