Major Charges/Projects

The Certification Committee is responsible for promoting the HP, AT, and DPT certification programs administered by the American Society for Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).  The Committee is also responsible for developing the content of the Hemapheresis Practitioner Examination in cooperation with the ASCP.

Meeting Schedule

The Certification Committee meets in person with the ASCP in February of each year.

ASFA members are invited to apply to serve on the Certification Committee by sending an email, stating their interest in joining the Certification Committee to asfa@apheresis.org.  Please include a brief CV as an attachment to your email.
