Major Charges/Projects

The Physicians Committee is responsible for establishing a prototypic document that provides recommendations to residents and fellows training in donor and therapeutic apheresis medicine.

A new Graduate Apheresis Medical Education Session was created at the ASFA 2008 Annual Meeting, which highlighted the work of this committee through various presentations by its members and offered time for interactive exchanges with audience participants regarding its future direction and course.

Meeting Schedule

The Physicians Committee meets monthly via teleconference. The Committee also meets in person at the Annual Meeting.
