Stanford Blood Center: Automated Collections Manager

Will plan, develop, implement and evaluate operations, processes and procedures for automated red cell, platelet and plasma collections for allogeneic, research, autologous or designated blood donors. QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Nurse, Medical Technologist or SBB, with minimum of two years related blood bank experience required. History of progressively responsible positions in Nursing or Healthcare Management required. Two-year minimum degree required. Experience and demonstrated competency on multiple types of automated blood collection technologies required. Use of Microsoft Word required; familiarity with other Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and PowerPoint preferred. Experience in therapeutic apheresis preferred. Superior customer-oriented attitude, ability to cooperatively reach solutions and ability to successfully negotiate difficult interpersonal situations required. POSITION SUMMARY:
